Mom and Dad seriously have the best friends. The BEST. We've had several visits from friends over the past few weeks, been showered with gifts, cards, and well-wishes, and have even gotten full meals from several teacher and Journey Group friends.
Miss Afton is another friend of ours who made us feel so special with the beautiful Sip 'n See she threw for us. Mom used this party as an opportunity to introduce me to her teacher friends, as well as say good-bye, since she's on maternity leave and will not be returning next fall. It was definitely a bittersweet afternoon, as Mom has enjoyed her time with these coworkers over the past four years so much. At 3 weeks old, I learned early on that good-byes are never easy.
Miss Afton, thank you so much for throwing such a great party that afternoon. We are so thankful for your family's friendship. Love you!
