The Friday night before we moved, Megan and Rodger drove to Lawrence to grab dinner and give hugs before the big move. We left Joshua with Gramma, and the five of us hit the Burger Stand one last time. We also got ice cream from Silas and Maddy's. (Man, we miss Lawrence food!) That night, we missed Ashley and Stephen, but Ash was under strict doctor's orders to take it easy due to her pregnancy. They were there with us in spirit, though!
This was one of the hardest goodbyes for us, but in some ways easier knowing that we will indeed be seeing and talking to each other soon. This group is family, so there's no doubt we'll stay connected over the years. Like it or not, the Turbaks and Hiatts are stuck with us!
Here are some pics of us hangin' out with the Turbaks:
Don't they look good with a baby?! ;)

On Sunday, the Ratzlaffs drove over to say one last goodbye, as well. We were frantically trying to prepare for the movers to come the next day, so our time together was too short, but we were so thankful that they popped in! These friends came into our lives five years ago. At that time both couples were newlyweds and Mama and Afton were in their first year of teaching together. Since then, they've both added two kiddos to the mix (us two boys and them two girls). While we're not able to hang out as much as we'd like, whenever we're together, it's always so easy. This is another friendship that will last a lifetime, there's no doubt about it.
Here are a couple shots of our time together at the park across the street:
So blessed by these wonderful friends. Thanks for taking the time to bid us farewell. Come visit soon!
Love,
Eli (and the rest of the Flors)
Aww, we miss you guys! And you're stuck with us for forever!
